Training of dogs and their handlers is offered in a group class settings. Class sizes are kept small to allow for individual instruction and problem solving. These classes enhance owner/dog communications and assist building of strong, lifelong bonds. Some will go on to compete at local, regional, or national events. Most others, however, continue through advanced classes for personal growth and enjoyment.

The Academy teaches positive reinforcement of dog behaviors. Successful dog behaviors are rewarded with praise, play, toys, and treats. These rewards are withheld for unsuccessful behaviors. The owner/handler is considered to be the most important link in the owner/dog relationship.
