-Beginning Obedience:
What’s Covered: Beginning Dog Training is a basic obedience course for dogs who are 4months of age and older. This class will help you learn how to train your dog. You will learn how to get your dog to walk on a loose leash, sit, down, stay and come when called. Teaching basic boundary training is also covered.
Cost: $120 for 6 weekly lessons. Each lesson is approximately 1 hour long. Also included are a textbook and informative handouts. The $120 class fee is required to reserve a place in the class. The class fee will be refunded if cancelled two weeks or more before the start of class.Cancellation after the deadline will be refunded only if your spot can be filled. Class size is limited for personal attention.
-Rally Obedience:
(Rally-O) is a designed course consisting of numbered signs called “stations” that direct the “team” to perform a variety of exercises including stays, turns, circling and directional movements that the team follows in numerical sequence.
More fluid than traditional competitive obedience, Rally-O focuses on attitude and enthusiasm, allowing you to develop & display your versatility and teamwork. Unlimited communication from the handler to the dog is encouraged. You are allowed to talk, praise and encourage the dog through the course. RALLY-O is a fun introduction to the world of dog sports or just one more way to spend quality time with your dog.
